PR specialists from the Berlin based agency Zucker.Kommunikation gather for a meeting to with a Power Point presentation. The stop-motion is part of a reportage on the production processes in the media industry which I did in late 2011.

Old school surfing is the theme of this fashion series. I captured the casual street wear from Barcelona’s brand SPRT in the look of the 50′s and 60′s. Though Catalonia is at the rather shallow Mediterrean Sea there are some spots to catch a good wave – even at the urban city beaches of Barcelona. Toni Torrens, owner and designer of the label was one of the first who brought surfing over from California.
Thanks a lot to our model Pol, special assistant Gregor Koall, and our hair & make-up artist Ana Vergara.
Spring / Summer 2012 is about to begin. Here is a very summerly catalogue series for Grisby, Barcelona. Our model Marc Teufer Parella takes a leisure walk through the exquisite Cactus Garden of Barcelona.
Fine suits and jackets contrast with walls of succulent green, tropical flowers and old palm trees.
Thanks to Ana Sabina Vergara for hair & make-up as well as to Felipe Cifuentes for his great assistant job!

Therefore, the subject – pure communication – led me go into a much more subtle way of describing it. So, it became a series of still-lives of media…
In the last weeks I shot a couple of shootings for Germany’s leading music casting show “Voice of Germany”.
It’s TV channel Pro7 needed proper press photos of the young talents.
Here are some photos from a shooting with Benny Fiedler in his Berlin barrio Schöneberg:
Beauty Inc. Magazine, a Condé Nast publication, sent me to the Braun headquarters in Kronberg near Frankfurt. Together with European beauty editor Jennifer Weil I did an industry reportage on the product design department and quality control laboratories.
Here you get an idea of how sound design (of a hair drier) is evaluated: the highly isolated sound recording booth

Right on time to start into the Fashion Week, here are some brand new portraits of Berlin’s up and coming fashion designers. They are all based in the German capital and they just got started with their career. The series was a shot for Women’s Wear Daily.
